In Person Author Talk: Katherine Miller, At the Table

We're thrilled to welcome Katherine Miller, the founding executive director of the Chef Action Network and former vice president of impact at the James Beard Foundation, in celebration of her first book At the Table: A Chef's Guide to Advocacy. We will host Katherine for an author talk , Q&A, and book signing at our store on Monday, October 2 at 6:30pm, where she will be joined in conversation by restaurateur and cookbook author Renee Erickson.

You'll have two options for joining us: Book Included, or Author Talk Only. The Book Included option includes a signed copy of the $32 book. Katherine will sign books following the talk.

About the Book: When Katherine Miller was first asked to train chefs to be advocates, she thought the idea was ludicrous. This was a group known for short tempers and tattoos, not for saving the world. But she quickly learned that chefs and other leaders in the restaurant industry are some of the most powerful forces for change in our troubled food system.
