Students are required to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination + valid ID at the start of class (please plan to arrive early accordingly). Failure to do so will result in a cancellation of ticket, and a refund or store credit will not be issued. Examples of valid proof of COVID-19 vaccinations are: vaccination record card, digital or physical WA state certificate of vaccination from MyIRmobile.com, or a verified electronic medical record printout from a medical provider. Students will also be required to wear masks during the non-eating portions of class.
Meghan Mckenna is a cheesemaker at Cherry Valley Dairy and is currently working on her new farmstead creamery in Sedro-Woolley . She has worked in dairy farms in France, Ireland, and Italy, and developed the Hand-Stretched Mozzarella program at Metropolitan Market.
Join Meghan as we explore the wonderful world of homemade cheese. In this hands on class you will get to make feta from start to finish! Meghan will also demo ricotta using local milk for the group to try.
Hands-on class. Includes generous samples of cheese, bread, and spreads. Class is limited to 12 students. Please note that class reservations are non-refundable.
