Ask pastry chef Marianna Stepniewski to choose between fruit and chocolate and she'll pick fruit every time. In this class we'll celebrate one of the best seasons of the year - that fleeting intersection where strawberries and rhubarb meet.
In this hands-on class you'll learn how to incorporate this classic pairing into inspired desserts to add to your baking repertoire. We'll make tender Strawberry Olive Oil Cornmeal Upside-Down Cakes and pair them with a rich Lime Olive Oil Curd and whip up a refreshing Strawberry Rhubarb Rosé Sorbet. We'll also turn a classic on its head by making Molten Tahini Fondant Cakes with Roasted Rhubarb.
Class is limited to 11 people and is hands-on. A light salad will be served, along with generous samples of each dessert.
