Book Larder is delighted to welcome Coinneach Macleod back to the shop to celebrate the release of his new book The Hebridean Baker at Home: Flavors & Folklore from the Scottish Islands! We will host Coinneach for an author talk, followed by a Q&A and book signing at our store on Monday, February 12th at 6:30pm. This delightful book is filled with comforting cakes and bakes, alongside delicious, hearty savory dishes, Celtic recipes, and signature holiday bakes.

About the book: In my kitchen, flavors become stories, bakes become family favorites and recipes are shared with friends from across the islands. Coinneach was born and raised on the Isle of Lewis, the most northerly of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Inspired by traditional family recipes and homegrown produce, He rose to fame as the Hebridean Baker on TikTok, and has motivated his worldwide followers to bake, forage, learn Gaelic, enjoy a dram or two of whiskey, and to seek a more wholesome, simple life. Along with his partner Peter and their Westie pup Seoras, Coinneach’s aim is to bring the best of the Scottish islands to a worldwide audience.
