Kenji López-Alt + James Ehnes Present: Tasting Notes II at Benaroya Hall

We are excited to join Kenji Lopez-Alt, James Ehnes, and Seattle Chamber Music Society for a second edition of Tasting Notes II, an evening of food, music and conversation at Benaroya Hall.

Seattle’s best chefs and the world’s greatest classical musicians team up for a unique evening of live music and cooking demonstrations, hosted by Kenji Lopez-Alt and James Ehnes. For one night only, James Beard Award–winning chef Renee Erickson, Lee Kindell of MOTO Pizza, Kelly Van Arsdale of Spinnaker Chocolate, and Kevin Smith of Beast and Cleaver will take the stage at Benaroya Hall. They’ll be joined by musicians James Ehnes and special guests for a one-of-a-kind experience exploring the parallels between food and music.

Guests will be treated to live cooking demonstrations alongside the live music performances; each chef performs a silent demonstration of one of their signature dishes or techniques, with accompaniment from a thematically linked piece selected by Ehnes. All attendees this year will join in a Spinnaker Chocolate experience and MOTO Pizza after-party in the lobby, plus a book signing with Kenji! For VIP ticket holders there will be an exclusive reception immediately following the event with tasting menus, Gård Vintners wine pairings, and artist meet-and-greets. We hope to see you there!
