We're delighted to welcome back longtime friend of the shop, 25-year veteran of restaurants, owner of Valley Sharp, and knife sharpener by trade Darin Gagner for a deep dive on the fundamentals, process, and equipment for sharpening your own knives on whetstones.
Join us in our demo kitchen for a hands-on clinic where we'll cover: whetstone selection and care, finding and maintaining angles, apexing, burr creation and removal, and honing. Knives for practice will be provided.
Class is limited to 8 people and is hands-on.
Please note that event registration is non-refundable and non-transferable between classes. Pricing includes $130 ticket + 10.55% applicable sales taxes + $2.00 transaction fee.
