Community Event: The Heart-Shaped Tin: Stories from Our Kitchens with Cynthia Nims

We are delighted to welcome local cookbook author and longtime friend of the shop Cynthia Nims for a special community gathering inspired by Bee Wilson’s The Heart-Shaped Tin! Together, we’ll spend the evening sharing stories and exploring the memories and connections that can be found in our most cherished kitchen objects.

From the cookie cutters that have been part of holiday traditions for many years, to the well-loved skillet you got when first learning to cook, to the salad bowl set in the center of the dinner table most nights, everyday kitchen objects can hold extraordinary meaning. Join us for an engaging conversation led by Cynthia, with attendees invited to share their own stories as well. Feel free to bring along a small, cherished kitchen item, too, if you’d like!
