Hot Stove Society Class: "Demystifying Amaro" with Brad Thomas Parsons & Fast Penny Spirits

We're delighted to join Tom Douglas' Hot Stove Society and Fast Penny Spirits for an amaro class with Brad Thomas Parsons, author of Amaro and many other titles, on Friday, September 12th at Hot Stove Society (located within the Hotel Andra building in downtown Seattle at 2000 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 98121.) Class description: Now more than ever, Italian-born amaro has been transformed from a dusty digestivo to taking center stage as a key ingredient on cocktail lists around the world. Amaro is emblematic of Italian drinking culture, representing the spirit of la dolce vita through al fresco aperitivo drinks, creative cocktails, and sipping with friends while lingering at the table after dinner.  There are hundreds of “amari” (the plural) made throughout Italy and a delicious array made here in Seattle by our friend and PNW native Jamie Hunt, creator of Fast Penny Spirits Amaricano Amaro in Seattle.

Jamie will be joined by her friend, Brad Thomas Parsons, author of "Bitters" (a James Beard and IACP award winner) and "Amaro" as they navigate the world of Amaro. Jamie and Brad will guide you through seasonal "bambino"-sized cocktails showcasing the range of amaro and they will serve various styles of amari from Italy and the Fast Penny Spirits portfolio. The Hot Stove Team will be there assisting on this dynamic and festive evening, serving substantial tastes to match the delicious drinks. 

When you arrive, you will be greeted with assorted Venetian Cicchetti and a Fast Penny Viola Spritz to enjoy during the demonstration.

Refund policy: Once a class is purchased it is non-refundable. The ownership, however, is yours and you may send someone else in your stead.
