Knife Sharpening with Darin Gagner - June 2nd (appointment only)

We are excited to host Darin Gagner of Valley Sharp for a day of knife sharpening services at the shop on Tuesday, June 2nd! Sign up for a slot and browse our selection of cookbooks while Darin sharpens your knives (up to 5). Make a Book Larder purchase during your appointment, and you'll receive a discount on your sharpening services!

• How this works:
  Follow this link to schedule your 20-minute slot. You may bring up to 4-5 knives for a standard sharpening. Note: drop-off sharpening will not be available--by appointment only.
• A $20 deposit is due at the time of booking. This will hold your spot for knife sharpening, and can be used toward your final charge for sharpening services. Refunds for cancellation are available up to 48 hours before the event.

Price + Payment: $2 per inch for any knife (with a $12 minimum), and repairs are offered at reasonable rates.

About Valley Sharp: Darin is a lifer in the restaurant industry and has been a cook, chef, and culinary educator for 25 years. He grew to love knives and sharpening and established Valley Sharp in 2022 to provide the best possible service for professionals and home cooks. When he's not in the kitchen, at the Tormek machine, or over his whetstones, he's with his sons in the woods or by a lake.
