May 7, 2024
06:30 pm - 08:00 pm
Book Larder is thrilled to welcome Benjamina Ebuehi all the way from the UK to celebrate her new book, I'll Bring Dessert, the latest from one of our all-time favourite GBBO contestants! Benjamina will join us for an author talk, Q&A, and book signing on Tuesday, May 7th at 6:30pm here at the shop, and will be in conversation with Rachael Coyle of Seattle's Coyle's Bakeshop.
I'll Bring Dessert showcases sweet recipes to cater for any occasion, with a mix of hot and cold, vegan and gluten free (or simple swaps), and recipes that can be made in advance or on the day with tips on how to transport or finish assembling later, from Cherry Slab Pie to a Gingerbread Mascarpone Roulade and Hot Honey Peach Shortcakes!
Reservations are non-refundable and include a signed copy of the $35 book. Applicable sales tax and a $0.75 transaction fee are also included. Can't attend but still want a signed book? Order here for shipping or in-store pickup.
About the book: Being the designated 'dessert person' is often met with panic, but Benji is here to show you that not only is it fun, but it's simple to create desserts with wow-factor all year round no matter the day, season or occasion. From recipes made in one dish or desserts that are easy to transport, for a table of four or simple recipes to please a crowd, with this gorgeous book, no matter what the occasion, you'll find yourself saying: "I'll bring dessert"!
About the author: Benjamina Ebuehi writes recipes, styles and creates content for media and brands, is an ambassador for the social enterprise Luminary Bakery, and co-founded The Sister Table with her sister Bonita, hosting pop-up brunches and supper clubs for women across London. Her food blog, Carrot and Crumb, was a finalist in the 2019 Saveur Blog Awards.
