Slurp soup for brain cancer research! Join cookbook author, cancer patient, and Seattle soup lady Caroline Wright at her monthly soup stand – think lemonade stand, but soup instead – in front of the shop on select Saturdays this fall, winter, and spring from 11am to 2pm! Pick up a copy of her award-winning soup cookbook Seconds and have her sign it while sipping a soup made from one of her favorite recipes in the book. 100% of proceeds benefit the American Brain Tumor Association, set aside specifically for glioblastoma research. This is a free event; no RSVP needed, just come on by!
